About
What far-end is and why it exists.
What it is
far-end is a small service for collecting form submissions and reading simple statistics. It is for sites that have no server of their own and for anyone who wants their form data to stay under their control.
Why it exists
Adding a form to a static site usually means choosing between a third-party service that tracks visitors and building your own backend. far-end is the middle path: a hosted endpoint you can point a form at, with privacy built in.
It is opinionated about data. There is no account system, no tracking pixel, and no raw IP storage. The data you collect is the data you asked for.
How it is run
- A public endpoint gated by origin checks, one-time challenges, and field-level spam rules.
- Statistics computed from the submissions, not a separate analytics pipeline.
- Hashing and privacy controls on by default.
